Creative Paths' workshops motivate individuals to think creatively and understand the importance of innovation and individual ideas. Developing the right kind of working and personal environment is crucial to maximizing creative performance at both individual and organizational levels.  Techniques for achieving this are experienced in these hands-on sessions.
Creating an innovative environment for creative problem solving, idea development and innovation is a unique experience for each organization; so Creative Paths also offers both open and custom programs to help you nurture the creative resources that are all around you.

Throughout the year, we offer the following workshops:

Managing Turbulence in the Era of Creativity (2-days)
The current social and economic transition to the new era may be as revolutionary as the industrial revolution. However, personal and organizational opportunities emerge from these turbulent times and future periods of ‘chaos’ provided we
know and understand them in the context of creative behavior. This workshop, then, is designed to guide participants in understanding how the current changing and, at first glance, unpredictable environment might be viewed positively from the perspective of creativity and innovation.   Click here to download a brief description of this workshop.

Managing oneself and others in the Era of Creativity (3-days)
Old management models have finally been put to the test and have been found lacking. Designing new management models requires the application of creativity in all areas of management as well as elsewhere. This workshop takes a fresh look at the many aspects of what encourages people to be
creative and what discourages them. From leadership style to tolerating anarchy, this new approach to creating innovative environments is designed to help participants develop their own new model of management: Managing for Creativity. Click here to download a brief description of this workshop.

Championing Creativity (2-days)
The main focus of “Championing Creativity” is for participants to develop the skills necessary to enhance the work environment for themselves and their colleagues and to optimize it for creative performance.  In order to achieve these changes creativity 'champions' learn techniques that infuse through and empower the whole organization. You already have creative resources that are not being tapped. This program helps you access those resources.
Why championing?  The philosophy behind this approach is that change is brought about by
individuals rather than by committee.  Participants will also get an overview of how leadership styles influence creativity within an organization, and they receive an introduction to Creative Problem Solving.

Creative Problem Solving (2-4 days)
Staying ahead of the competition often depends on taking quantum leaps. This workshop uses exciting new but proven techniques to help achieve both revolutionary and evolutionary change. Whether developing new products, or pursuing other corporate goals, the skills learned in this workshop give
your business the edge to stay ahead.

The specific skills learned over this two-day workshop include:
   * How to build a team for creative problem solving
   * Why traditional brainstorming techniques fall short
   * How to generate creative ideas
   * Using Spherical Thinking™

Creativity, Leadership and Emotional Intelligence (2 or 3 days)
Successfully harnessing creativity requires emotional intelligence and appropriate leadership skills in order to:
   * Develop positive interactions with others
   * Know one’s strengths and limitations
   * Use one’s own and others’ creative resources to maximum advantage
Learn how to maximize the effectiveness of innovative skills with Applied Emotional Intelligence.
 creativity workshops
From time to time we run retreats and workshops where we coach and guide you through helping you and your organization become more creative and innovative.  It has been established over and over again that seeing and thinking about things in a different way is best achieved by a change of environment.  For this reason we encourage or clients to us our magnificent chateau in Portugal’s magnificent Algarve region.

As well as comfortable and well-equipped class and breakout rooms, our own retreat, Casa Sol e Lua has numerous areas for individual and small group contemplation.  Situated within some of Europe’s most magnificent countryside the opportunities for hiking, swimming, reading or just relaxing provide the perfect background for learning about and enhancing creativity.

In order to accommodate larger groups we have an arrangement with a charming  ‘Turismo Rural’ or country hotel, the Quinta da Fonte do Bispo.  The Quinta has several indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for workshop or breakout sessions.  They also have a banquet hall that will accommodate up to 200 people.
